This BBS can be accessed on 01435 830484,3333 at any time and it is a FREE service.
Please remember the 'comma(s)' in the number otherwise the call will not be routed correctly!
The comma provides a 2 second delay, allowing the exchange to connect the call before the '3333' is sent.
On telephone networks other than BT (such as Cable & Wireless) you may need to use two commas to cater for the extra routing time involved
(or you could change the default setting in your modem S8 register).
Also make sure that your DTMF tone duration and spacing is set no shorter than the standard 95 milliseconds to ensure reliable access
(see your modem S11 register).
Windows 95/98 HYPERTERMINAL program is perhaps the most reliable one to use and is recommended. Others may have trouble downloading large ZIP files.
If anyone comes across a later version of a program it would be greatly appreciated if a copy could be uploaded to the BBS so that others may benefit from it. .............I try to maintain an up-to-date system but it is not easy!
