LARGE SCALE
One of the biggest developments in past years which has made a racers life easier is the introduction of the AMBrc Personal Transponder This little device replaces the clip on transponder and has a unique code that identifies it - all you need to do (assuming that the organisers of the race meeting that you are attending support them) is to tell the race timing what number identifies your PT. No need to run for your transponder and no worries about forgetting to put one on the car! Installation is very easy, we will go through the steps as I did for an Evo 04 but the process is almost identical on most cars. 1. Identify the location of the PT and make sure that the lead
will stretch to your receiver box (the PT MUST locate flat - ie: with either of
the faces downwards and NEVER on its side). ![]() 3. Now for a tricky bit, if (like me) you use Futaba style plugs and the Y lead has HiTec style sockets you will have to very carefully trim the lip from the Futaba plug. - BE CAREFUL. ![]() 4. Add the PT lead and the battery lead in the Y lead and power up your radio gear - the PT should light up (usually an orange light shows). ![]() 5. Re-assemble your radio box and electrics, make sure that no wires are trapped in the process. 6. Now screw the PT to the pre-chosen location on the car, I used the very hand transponder mount (Best No: 8419) as a base for this. ![]() 7. Test it all again and cable tie any loose leads in place. The following photos will help you trim your Frank Killam Racing Aero Nose piece for FG's Honda body correctly. Remember work slow,Don't try and rush this procedure.

Install the two center bolts. Reposition the two clamps and drill the remaining holes
Use a tire to outline the wheel opening. Then remove the nose and trim to the line.
