Sylvia Knowlson Artist

Sylvia Knowlson, a Scottish artist was born in Irvine, Ayrshire and studied drawing and painting at Gray's School of Art. She is a prolific painter and sculptor having exhibited in Aberdeen and thought out the North East where she now resides. Her work is represented in many private collections.

Sylvia has been working with wood, stone, wire and canvas. Exhibiting for a number of years she has created many fine works of art. She is a well known character, animal lover and artist. A lot of her work involves painting and sculpting animals.

In an interview by the Aberdeen Evening Express Jun 7, 2007 Sylvia was asked what she would do if she worked in a circus. She says; I would work with the elephants I love animals.
