Cloud Hill P2

ABOUT OUR HOME

Cloud Hill was designed exclusively as a "one of a kind" house for a very demanding client. The final design was the result of a limited submission architectural competition and was constructed and fitted out in approx 1965
The house was featured in the 1972 Daily Mail Book of House Plans as "House of the Year" and is considered by many as a design icon of the '60's. We are often visited by architecture students and many remark on the similarity with work by the famous American/Welsh Architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.

HISTORY OF OUR HOME

The house has connections with the late '60's and '70's pop world and is connected by name and history with Lawrence of Arabia. We have been given this information by past owners and local rumour and gossip
