Grand Prix Rules for 2008
Five Categories, Cross Country, Fell Races, Trail Races, Road Races and
Category 5
Categories consist of three races, each of varying length/difficulty giving
twelve races in total, except Category 5
Competitors must complete one race in each category and any other four
races from the categories of their choice, eight in total, except Category 5
The 'Special Race' can be substituted for any Grand Prix race, to either make
up the eight, or in place of one of the eight, if the competitor requests it
The 'Category 5 races' only count towards the 'Best Alrounder trophy' and not
the main Grand Prix
The scoring for the 'Best Alrounder Trophy' will be using the WMA calculator
based on 2006 figures
Competitors compete in 'Age Categories' determined by their age on
01/01/2008
2008 special race is 'The Grizedale Forest Trail Race' taking place Saturday
15th March
