Les spoke as Race Director and on behalf of himself and Assistant Race Director Dave Wright thanked club for all the support. Les made a special mention of how the clearing up work after the event had been made easier in last 2/3 yrs. He thanked all who had contributed to this.

Overall the event has received very positive feedback in every case apart from 1 person who didn’t like drawstring bag!

Two runners from Banbury said how impressed they were with the event and asked Les if their Race Director could contact us to gain some tips for their local event. Dave Wright already has already been contacted and has agreed to offer the benefit of his experience to them.

The water stations had worked very well however Terry Richardson suggested that water at Whitwell should be in the bus shelter area next year.

Avis checked what would happen with late runners – Les said anyone starting after the gun was not included in the race.

Les was aware of four runners who had set off late due to confusion with the start time. It appears that Runners World had published a start time for the race of 10.30 on their website.

Terry Richardson asked if Les had information regarding lack of hot water in the changing rooms. Les said that he hadn’t had any feedback yet.

3 marshals who were expected did not show on the day which caused some problems however thanks were extended to Lorraine Hornshaw for helping with some additional marshalling at short notice.
