The minutes of the previous meeting, Friday 30th March 2007 were read and agreed as a true record.

Retford Charter Day / Barlborough Fun Day – The Chairman told the membership that Clowne RR had been approached to see if the club were willing to take over the organisation of the Retford Charter Day 5k race adding that Retford AC had previously organised the race.

Clowne RR had also been approached by the Barlborough Parish Council about organising an event as part of the annual Barlborough Fun Day.

The Chairman outlined past history about both events and his view was that both events should not be supported by the club at this moment in time.

The Chairman opened up the debate to the membership and the general feeling was that the Charter day race should definitely not be supported but we would review future involvement in the Barlborough fun day.
