The Horse Head Nebula

This picture of the Horse Head Nebula in Orion was imaged by Crayford member Keith Rickard.  It was taken using his SBIG ST7-XME CCD mounted on his classic 8" Meade LX200 F10 schmidt-cassegrain telescope with a F3.3 focal reducer.

The image is made up of 30 x 2 minute luminance, 30 x 2 minute red, 30 x 2 minute green and 10 x 2 minute blue images.  All images were median stacked and processed using Maxim DL and Adobe Photoshop.
