A simple idea but a good one. Insulex is a little like Blue Tac in texture and comes in convenient strips. Simply press onto the surface of your COLD boiler, avoiding the pipes and fittings. When you next switch the machine on, the heat from the boiler expands the Insulex by about 400% giving an even layer of insulation. For non HX machines, you will need to switch to steam mode for 5 minutes to expand and then set the Insulex. Once set Insulex can easily be removed using the removal spray. Simply spray on, wait 5 minutes and the insulex softens and can easily be peeled off (one can will remove around 50 strips)
The easiest and simplest way to insulate any espresso machine. Please give capacity of boiler when ordering. As a guide an average size 1.5 litre boiler uses about 9 strips
