Espresso Machine - my current machine is an Izzo Alex. This is an E61 Type machine with a rotary pump and an Internal 3 litre fresh water tank, so that it doesn't need to be connected to the mains supply. This machine is unusual in terms of its relatively small footprint.
Grinder - is the ubiquitous Mazzer Mini E,
a superb grinder with large 64m grinding burrs as used in the commercial
versions of the Mazzer (the Super Jolly). Doserless grinding straight into the
portafilter is another important feature, giving very fresh coffee and very
little mess.
Home Roaster - Toper Cafemino (electric variant), a 1kg roaster,
that comes complete with chaff cyclone, fanned cooling tray and allows back to
back roasting. This means it's capacity is 1kg per batch and around 3-4kg per
hour depending on how dark you roast. It's effectively a commercial drum roaster
in miniature. Miniature is a relative term as the Cafemino although not that
large (tabletop roaster) weighs in at a hefty 85+ kilograms!
