First time users will need to create an account.

It's intended it to be used as a method of discussing specific issues/machines and topics from time to time. It may also be able to serve as a vehicle enabling southern coffee lovers who are local, to actually meet up on a regular basis for, a few nice coffees, mabye even cupping each others latest finds.  If you have anything coffee related to sell, or any coffee related stuff you want, there are a couple of areas specifically for that. Also an area specifically discussed at the TMC Southern meet, a "Greens Club".

The forum software is free and uses a free hosting system, that only took a few moments to join. Setup of the forum was literally a 10 minute job, although I am still learning about the software. I am not sure how useful the whole thing will be and don't really know how the free hosting will work out, there is a little advertising, but it's pretty unobtrusive.

Rules

None really just be polite, if you want to make commercial postings and post commercial links feel free to do so. I only ask that you try to stay on topic.

My time

Oh...yes, while I remember, the user registration is automated and I won't be spending a huge amount of time running things. To be honest, i'm don't want to spend any time managing the forum
