Progress on No 401
August to December 2008
Much work has gone into rubbing down the exterior of No 401 over the last few months and the front is now red however work had to stop due to the cold weather.
March 2009
With warmer weather 401 has started to revert to NBC red although it is currently only partly in undercoat and not in the best position to photograph and No 231's repaint is currently taking up our time
September 2009
No 401 ventures outside to be turned round and displays its part finished paintwork
