I am shortly heading to Kiel in Germany to compete at Kieler Wocher - the largest sailing regatta in the world. You can follow my progress in the 2.4m Class at the Keil Week website. The racing for my class starts June 25th.

The Metre Rule Centenary Regatta at Cowes in July 07 was the 2.4 Nationals and although the number of races was limited due to the weather conditions, I did really pretty well.
My boat shot out of the blocks for the first race and was really competitive - thanks to work done on the keel by Duncan Bates. It was great to be able to battle it out at the front of the fleet.
I was happy with my finish position, 2nd Disabled, forth overall and the first of the first British
sailors competing for the Beijing Paralympic slot. All in all, a good boost to my campaign. Event web site
The Disability Challenge
In 1999 I had a life changing moment, I fell down a mountain in France. The net result was permanent paralysis from the mid chest down. My life was instantly changed - but it wasn't necessarily changed for the worse. I spent some time recovering and taking stock with my partner Sarah.
