Weymouth OCR
Olympic classes racing at Weymouth this weekend. Going down Friday morning. I'm planning on training Friday afternoon to get used to the conditions. Should be a good regatta with lots of other classes sailing as well.

Martin 16 Nationals
One try out day and two days racing on this two seater boat with Rob Foster as my crew. We aimed to win and went in the second day as joint leaders but we failed secure a race win on the last day relegating ourselves to third place overall. The event was won by the team of Danny McCoy, the Canadian Paralympian and President of the Martin 16 Class Association. In second place was Megan Pascoe. We were pleased with our upwind speed but in the light airs at Northampton the game was about starting well and finding the constantly changing lines of pressure. One average start and two poor ones on the last day plus sailing into hole when in the lead put paid to our National Championship claim for this year. Great boat to sail and really good to have a crew to work with. Thanks to Brian Harding for the use of the boat. Further information on Martin 16's under Paralympic Sailing.

Martin 16 Nationals
Am competing in the Martin 16 Nationals at Northampton over the next few days. The Martin 16 is a two person boat and might become a new Paralympic Class. This is the first nationals in the UK and most of the sailors will not have sailed one before. Should be interesting. Further details on Martin 16's

Great coverage and very good news for Zurich, sponsors for the last two years.
