2011-2012

Colwyn Choral Society , founded in 1959, is a mixed voice amateur choir rehearsing and performing in the Colwyn Bay area. We have around 75 members. 

Our main concerts are in December and April with a lighter  charity concert in summer.

We aim to encourage a friendly atmosphere in which everyone enjoys singing.  We always welcome new members so just come along.

ADMISSION  £8  -    £5 CHILDREN AND STUDENTS

Because this concert is to raise funds for the Janet Williams Memorial Fund, we have invited two recent recipients of awards to take part in the concert. They are Holly Blomfield, a flautist from Lloc and Robert Guy, a viola player from Wrexham. Both are now making their way in the professional music world and have played in concerts for the Philharmonia Orchestra of North Wales.
