Having Trouble playing the videos?

Sorry about that.

Some of these files are .ASF MicroSoft Active Streaming (Media) Files filmed using a Sharp VN-EZI Digicam (they contain audio and/or video compressed with 3rd party codecs) whatever codecs are! I got a new PC recently and of course it didn't have the codec for the Sharp Digicam .asf files which are on this site. These are MPEG-4 files and need a codec to be played. When started, Windows Media Player automatically started looking for it on the net. It said it needed the Sharp G.276 Audio Codec but when it started searching could only find the Sharp G.726 codec. This was on http://www.wmplugins.com. I followed the links and did a search for .276 but couldn't find it. As Media player was leading me to the G.726 I loaded this and everything worked fine. Not sure why the numbers didn't agree.

They are playable using Microsoft Windows Media Player. They may be playable using other applications but I don't know which ones.

Apple Quicktime Player cannot play these files. Unfortunately they won't play on Internet TVs like my mother used to have.

If the video stops and starts while playing this is probably because you have a slow network connection and the player has to stop from time to time to allow the datastream to catch up.

To avoid this stopping and starting right click on the link to display a shortcut menu click on Save Target As and....

...navigate to a folder which you will be able to find again, click Save and it will start downloading.

When the download is complete you may click on the Open button which should start your default player for this file, or you may start Windows Media Player click File and Open then navigate to the saved file, select and click OK.

Make sure you delete it afterwards!!
