Originally
designed in 2002 by a team comissioned by Arash Farboud, the original concept
of the F400 began as the Farboud GTS. The project, renamed in 2005 as the
Farbio GTS, was later overseen at specialist facilities near Bath (UK) by
Chris Marsh (of Marcos connections), eventually bought in March 2010 by
Ginetta Cars Ltd., renamed the Ginetta F400, with the intention of selling
these as road cars. Later, 2011, the Bath site was closed and the facilities
relocated to Garforth, giving Ginetta an in-house composite manufacturing
facility. |
