This page describes the layout trackplan.
There is to be no fixed track, if possible.
There are to be no holes cut in the baseboard for point motors, track feed etc.
The initial plan was just an oval and two sidings. After I installed this, I was very satisfied with the Rocoline trackwork, so the next steps were to add a passing loop on the back straight and lengthen the sidings to bring us to the current track plan...
The red dots show the location of point motors, I've installed one under each curved point. Due to the design of Rocoline with Trackbed, the point motors fit under the points but don't require a hole to be cut in the baseboard.
