Welcome to the Cornerstone Church web site. On this site you will find the different activities our church offers and dates and places of where we are. We are the local Elim Pentecostal Church for the local area of Haxby and Wigginton.

There are many branches of the Elim organisation throughout the world. The name Elim comes from when Moses stopped with the people of Israel at an oasis in the desert after being  rescued from Egypt. The oasis was a place of refreshment, which is what we still wish to be.

Cornerstone Church aims to be a family church within the
community of Haxby and Wigginton.
We want to be a church that is children and youth friendly and that we encourage them through their Christian life.

We believe that God loved the world so much that he sent Jesus to die for us. We need to turn to Jesus so that we can be rescued from sin and death. By trusting in Jesus we can be set free and live in a new life. The holy spirit helps us to change and grow as we follow Jesus.
