The Holy Spirit
Reflect on your experience of the Holy Spirit, then look at who the Holy Spirit is, not least in relation to the doctrine of the Trinity. Study how individuals and the church can 'live in the spirit' and evaluate the modern charismatic movement. Monday nights from 8th January 2007 at Trinity Methodist Church, Monkgate. Old Testament Introduction
Learn about the world of the Old Testament, its history and culture. You'll learn how to read the Old Testament in its true context – and how it speaks to us today. Tuesday nights from 9th January 2007 at Clifton Parish Church. Tutor: Derek Wooldridge. £85 per course, including course materials and tuition.
Flatpack Theology
Short, highly flexible courses on the basics of Christian belief and lifestyle. They can be taken on their own or can be bolted together to make up a programme of Christian studies designed for today's highly mobile world.
