Practice Nurses

Practice Nurses have special training in asthma, diabetes, stopping smoking, heart disease and lung disease. Lesley and Toni, our Health Care Assistants, are trained to do routine check-ups, blood tests, ECGs and other things.
Same Day Consultation Nurses are specially trained nurses who are able to see patients who book in with them directly who have new illnesses. Vikki is able to see and treat people with coughs, colds, sore throats, rashes and many other problems.

Assistant Practice Manager

Gill Heys, who used to be our Senior Receptionist, has now taken over the running of Rhyddings Surgery as well as other roles for the whole practice. She would also be pleased to receive any suggestions about how we might improve our services. So, she's still around, but now works upstairs.

Practice Manager

Mrs Elizabeth Bradley is responsible for the smooth running of the practice and should be able to help you with any queries you have about administrative or non-clinical aspects of your care. She is based at Shadsworth Surgery and would also be pleased to receive any suggestions about how we might improve our services. She is assisted by Joanna Watson, her Personal Assistant.
Also on the management team are John Sanderson, Business Manager, who looks after health and safety projects and the premises, Peter Pilkington, Finance Manager, Stephen Shaw, Finance Officer, Dawn Preston, Administrator, Sue Standen, Administrative Assistant and Tia Tanning, Practice Medicines Manager.

Sister Ursula McDonough can be contacted through the surgery for help after discharge from hospital, with chronic illness, disability and incontinence.

Health Visitors

Tracy can either be contacted the through the surgery, or directly at Larkhill Health Centre on 263611.
