Practice Nurses

Practice Nurses have special training in asthma, diabetes, stopping smoking, heart disease and lung disease. Our Health Care Assistants are trained to do routine check-ups and blood tests, ECGs and other things. Shiji, our treatment room nurse specialises in injections, wound dressings etc.
Nurse Practitioners are specially trained nurses who are able to see patients who book in with them directly who have new illnesses. Jayne is able to see and treat people with coughs, colds, sore throats, rashes and many other problems.

Administration

Mrs Elizabeth Bradley, our Practice Manager, is responsible for the smooth running of the practice and should be able to help you with any queries you have about administrative or non-clinical aspects of your care. She would also be pleased to receive any suggestions about how we might improve our services.

John Sanderson, our Business Manager, looks after health and safety, the premises and any ongoing projects.

Peter Pilkington is our Finance Manager.

Also in administration is Joanna Watson, Liz's Personal Assistant, Stephen Shaw, Finance Officer, Dawn Preston, Administrator, Susan Standen, Administrative Assistant and Samantha Desoer, Senior Practice Secretary.

District Nurses

Sister Ursula McDonough can be contacted through the surgery for help after discharge from hospital, with chronic illness, disability and incontinence.

Health Visitors

Tracy can either be contacted through the surgery, or directly at Larkhill Health Centre on 263611.

Counsellors

Various members of the Primary Mental Health Team see people at the surgery.
