Why a debt advice centre?

Debt is a problem affecting many people and it can be difficult to find advice that is accessible and free.

What is your aim?

The aim of the Centre is to provide free, confidential, independent and impartial debt advice to all who may benefit, regardless of age, ethnic background, beliefs or sexual orientation.

What will the service be like?

The service is:

a) Free
b) Provided by trained advisors.
c) For all stages of debt, from providing a listening ear through to dealing with creditors and if necessary supporting clients at court.

How can people get help?

The Debt Advice Centre is open on Friday mornings and Thursday evenings.
