Back in 1998 I received the most unusual
request of my working life when I was approached by Claudia Hawkins, a local bear maker for the
collectors market to make a set of teeth for a teddy bear!.

Using our joint expertise we have created the first collectable bear to have realistic teeth.
This bear has already been so successful that Claudia is planning to exhibit him in
Germany’s premier bear show and has entered the bear for the coveted
‘ der Goldener Bear’ award, which she won last year.
This unusual project has produced quite a lot of media attention from both the local press and
television.
