Profile of Managing Director and the Laboratory
The Cotswold Dental laboratory was opened in Cheltenham in 1979. The lab specialises in the manufacture of high quality dentures with a particular regard to aesthetics, fit and function.
	Martyn Young the Managing Director, is a committed Christian with an active role within St Paul's Church and St Barnabas's church in Cheltenham. He brings to his business, strong Christian principles. Martyn trained within an apprenticeship scheme in a private dental practice in Cheltenham, during this time he attended the Matthew Boulton Technical college in Birmingham, studying Dental Technology. After achieving his qualifications, he continued at the college for a further 2 years learning about advanced Prosthetic Techniques.

Always interested in improving his skills, Martyn has attended many courses and seminars over the years, and in the last two decades has been involved with Kemdent©, an international manufacturer of dental materials, as their technical advisor. This part-time post has lead to the development of some materials now used in dental labs as well as the publication of technical articles. Martyn is also a member of the Dental Laboratories Association where he is a former local area representative.
