Following extensive product development, we bring you the Cyber Bug – an award-winning design set to transform the lives of children with restricted mobility.
Designed to give Less able children the outdoor freedom and fun they rightly deserve and providing Parents and carers significant benefits of being together outdoors without constant physical effort and supervision.
The controller has a special override safety feature (see right) and can be positioned for left or right hand use, OR in a ‘carer control’ position at the rear.
The front wheel drive system makes it easy to manoeuvre and highly stable. Its compact design enables it to be transported un-occupied, in an estate car or people carrier for added convenience
The strong steel chassis and powder coated finish ensures long-term durability.
The Cyber Bug can climb an incline of up to 15º - a 1 in 6 slope and is specifically designed for off-road grassed areas such as parks, fields and gardens.
A removable rear backpack attached to the roll bar offers useful storage space.
The utilisation of the specially designed children’s Recaro seat gives extra postural support where required.
The Cyberbug is fitted with a controller safety device. When activated, the carer/parent has the ability to override the Cyberbug control system with a separate handheld remote, maintaining control over the child at all times within a range of 75 metres.
Note – the above feature is the standard Normal Operating Mode (NOM). However, an override switch is fitted which allows totally independent operation as a Special Operating Mode (SOM). This is especially useful when The Cyber Bug is being used in an enclosed space. The carer can set to SOM and leave the child to play totally independently thereby releasing the carer from constant supervision.
