DIRECTIONS FROM M5, TAUNTONTotal distance from motorway to cottage approximately 16 miles Exit J25 for A358 Taunton / Minehead. Follow this route through Taunton in the direction of Minehead for a distance of approximately 8.4 miles from the motorway junction until you see Cedar Falls Health Farm on the right hand side. Just after the health farm turn left on to the B3224 signposted in the direction of Ralegh's Cross. (Please note you do not go as far as Ralegh's Cross). Continue on the B3224 for a distance of 5.5 miles from the health farm, until seeing a road to the right signposted "Stogumber 2", turn right. NOTE: During the last 5.5 miles most of the signposts to the various villages have been located on the left hand side of the road even if the villages they relate to are on the right. The signpost for Stogumber can be easily missed..........this one is on a wide grass verge on the right hand side of the road at a point where the road on which you are travelling has a fairly sharp left hand bend. Follow the "Stogumber" road for a distance of 1.6 miles until you reach the "Stogumber please drive slowly through the village" sign. 23 Oldway is the second house on the right approximately 60 yards after this sign. The house you are looking for is a three storey, magnolia painted building, just before the house you will find an open gateway and a gravel parking area. We suggest that you drive past the house and turn round, by driving back up the hill you will find it easier to reverse into the parking space and this will make leaving the property easier and safer. You will now see the cottage through the arched gateway. |
