Bishops were unable to repeat their heroics of Wednesday night at Woodley Sports. An unchanged team took to the synthetic pitch on a bright and cold afternoon in Stockport.
Woodley took an early lead when Meakin was allowed to head home a cross unchallenged on 11 minutes.
Worse was to come on 23 minutes, as Bishops failed to get to grips with the unusual surface and Salmon applied the finishing touch as Bishops failed to clear from inside the 18 yard box.
Bishops were making no impression with Barwick isolated up front, and too many forward passes speeding straight through to the opposition 'keeper, or out for goal kicks.
The first real chance to the visitors came just after the break. O'Shea turned from the edge of the area and hit a low shot across Woodley's 'keeper, but the ball struck the foot of the far post and rebounded back into play, but to safety.
Although Bishops made it a more competitive match in the second half, they were unable to carve out too many chances. Storr came close in the 87th minute when his long range shot skimmed the top of the bar, and Bowes missed a free header inside the six yard box deep into injury time.
The final moment of note was manager Brian Healy's third yellow card in three substitute appearances, as Bishops cup action ended for the season.
