On 20 minutes Squires Gate keeper was lucky to stay on the pitch when he handled the ball outside the area, but the offence, like many other later, went unpunished by the referee.
Scott Richards created panic in the Gate defence on 41 minutes, and his persistence was eventually rewarded when he was hauled to the ground for a penalty. Storr fired in his second of the week for the equaliser.

Bishops should have lead on 43 minutes when Stewart burst into the box and was hacked to the floor about 12 yards from goal. The referee inexplicably moved play back and gave Bishops a free kick just outside the box. There was clearly to be only one penalty to the two blues today.
Storr's free-kick from this offence was tipped over. A minute later Richards was unlucky to see his low shot pushed past the post.
Collinson made a good save on 50 minutes from a low shot, but it was all one way traffic after that.
On 65 minutes, Whinspear was pulled to the ground in a six yard box battle, but the referee once again chose not to give the obvious offence. Whinspear had his revenge on 72 minutes. A through ball trapped between defender and forward on the goal line, but it was the Bishops player who reacted first. With an assured touch he gave himself a better angle before passing the ball into the open net.

Substitute Lynch was unluck when he headed a free-kick into the post on 77 minutes. The game was safe on 80 minutes when good work by Storr ended in a pin-point cross for Newby to head in from four yards.
Squires Gate shot low on 90 minutes but the ball went wide. Bishops were through for a tie at Bridlington Town in two weeks time.
