Wayne Gredziak and Amar Purewal returned after a broken leg and foot respectively.
Just two minutes into the game and Bishops made a nightmare start with Ord failing to clear a ball to the corner of the box. The ball was lifted in over Jeffries head and Stephen Ramsey headed the ball in from close to the line.
Apart from the early goal there wasn’t much in the game and Bishops made a crucial breakthrough equalising on 20 minutes. Adam Emson turned and shot and Shields ‘keeper Nicki Lawson parried the ball into the path of Wayne Gredziak who fired the ball home.
There were chances at either end as the half wore on. On 36 minutes Shields attacked on the right and the advancing Jeffries was rounded on the corner of the box, but Arjun Purewal and the back tracking Emson blocked the danger.
On 40 minutes Jeffries was again in action as he saved with his feet from Craig Ellison’s low shot.
Bishops should have taken the lead in first half injury time. A free kick 30 yards from goal was hit by Gredziak. His shot cannoned through the wall and spun out to Amar Purewal who side-footed a shot agonisingly wide of the far post.

Bishops started the second half on top and the first big chance came on 49 minutes when Emson curled a cross just over the leaping Gredziak. The ball ended up with Shields captain Graham at past the far post and he controlled the ball with his hand before hacking it to safety. Referee Traynor was unmoved.
A minute later and Amar Purewal and Chris Lawson created an opportunity on the right to pass to Gredziak but his shot was well blocked by Lawson.
The goal did arrive on 52 minutes. A right wing corner was swung in by Emson and Salvin deflected the ball with his foot and it looped into the top corner of the net for 2-1.
Bishops continued to attack as Shields wobbled. On 54 minutes Masters won the ball and pushed
it through to Emson who dribbled across the
On the hour Salvin slotted a pass to the increasingly dangerous Emson but his low shot was well saved by Lawson.
A minute later and Salvin pushed the ball through to Gredziak who pushed the ball under the advancing Lawson and into the net to make it 3-1.
65 minutes on the clock and Amar Purewal crossed and Gredziak stretched to head just over the bar, with Masters waiting unmarked at the far post.
The Shields defence at this stage was in tatters, bickering with each other and the match officials. Bishops kept the pressure on. After 68 minutes Lawson chipped the ball up front to Masters who crossed to Gredziak. The forward brought the ball down on his chest but prodded the ball wide of the post with Lawson narrowing the angle.
After a couple of minor scares in the Bishops defence, it was the Two Blues who were once again in the ascendancy as the chances came thick and fast.
On 82 minutes Tyson Masters made it 4-1 when Emson slid a pass between two Shields defenders and the striker pushed the ball past the ‘keeper and just inside the far post.
A minute later and Amar Purewal’s cross was knocked on by Masters to Salvin who prodded a shot just wide.
84 minutes and Amar Purewal took the ball in from the right and past a defender before unleashing a shot which Lawson did well to beat out.
Masters, in his penultimate game for the club before he departs for his homeland, was replaced by Harry Drummond with five minutes remaining.
On 87 minutes Gredziak passed to Emson who hit a cross shot from 20 yards low into the far corner of the net for 5-1.
Salvin had a shot slapped wide by Lawson on 88 minutes and just before the final whistle Emson blazed another great chance just over the bar.
A superb attacking performance in the second half with Bishops making up superbly for the November mauling, and picking up another vital three points.
