Bishop Auckland FC Extend Community Programme

In partnership with Bishop Auckland Town Council, Bishop Auckland St.Mary’s Juniors and the BAFC New Ground Project Team, Bishop Auckland Football Club last month made available to each member of Bishop Auckland St.Mary’s Juniors football teams two free single match tickets, amounting to 750 tickets for accompanied minors.

The second phase of this scheme has involved the distribution of season tickets to nineteen local schools in the Bishop Auckland area.

This scheme was funded by a generous donation by Bishop Auckland Town Council and a further commitment by Bishop Auckland Football Club.

With BAFC’s new ground at Tindale Crescent due to open Autumn 2010, we see this scheme as just the first stage of a renewed commitment by BAFC to the local community.
