Thoroughly enjoyed our week at ½ term hols. The house is wonderful& extremely tastefully appointed, feeling of Hotel standard fittings and no grumbles at all. With 5 Kids + 3Adults, the accommodation was spacious, safe and left us feeling pampered. Plenty of places to visit, Alnwick, Belsay and Druridge were our highlights- ran out of time to visit the dozens of others- so well be back! Good access to supermarkets etc. Parking OK. Think of the house as a restful and luxurious base from which to “tour” the area. The owner deserves full credit for the impression Tahfay House makes. Thank you and will recommend.

Very comfortable and homely accommodation. It was great to have lots of space as we are a family of six. Good location, it’s been a busy week, ranging from Beamish in the south to Berwick on Tweed in the North. One of the highlights was Alnwick Castle, very impressive and lots to see. Will recommend to friends.
