19th September 2009 -  Brad aka BIS Eng. , Ir. & Int. Ch Whitepoint Dream Weaver for Craigycor  wins Green Star Dog and Best of Breed at Carlow All Breed Championship Show under Mr. J. Kieser (South Africa).

Brad went on to win 4th in Group 1 under Mr. I. Wilson (Ireland).

The Bitch Green Star winner was our own Misty aka Eng. & Ir. Ch. Ryslip Molly Malone at Craigycor .

5th September 2009 - Misty aka Eng. Ch. Ryslip Molly Malone at Craigycor wins first in Open Bitch, Green Star Bitch and Best of Breed at Drogheda All Breed Championship Show under Mrs. T. Power (Ireland). This win gave Misty the final green star for her Irish title.

Misty went on to win 3rd in Group 1 under Mrs. Anne Taggart (Ireland).

29th August 2009 - at the Scottish Kennel Club Misty aka Eng. Ch. Ryslip Molly Malone at Craigycor won the Bitch CC and Best of Breed under breed specialist Mrs. Cerys Davis (Ceranda Corgis, Wales).

This gave Misty the final CC for her title and we are delighted to report that she finished the day off by winning first in the Pastoral Group under Mr. R. Gregory (England).

22nd August  2009 - Larry aka Craigycor Mr Magawan wins the Dog CC and Reserve Best of Breed both days in Tasmania.

Congratulations to Larry's owner Joan Watson and handler Tracey Walker.

We are pleased to report the following wins on the Munster Circuit:

• 16th August 2009 - Brad aka Eng. & Ir. Ch. Whitepoint Dream Weaver for Craigycor Green Star Dog and Best of Breed under Mr. Les Morrison (South Africa) at Clonmel All Breed Championship Show.

Completing a ‘double’ for us was Bunny aka Eng. & Ir. Ch. Maplecreek Beach Bunny at Craigycor who won green star bitch.

• 16th August 2009 - Bunny aka Eng. & Ir. Ch. Maplecreek Beach Bunny at Craigycor Green Star Bitch, Best of Breed and Best in Show at the Welsh Corgi Club of Ireland Speciality Show under breed specialist Miss. Theresa Maddox (Salvenick Corgis, England).

Completing a ‘double’ for us was Brad aka Eng. & Ir. Ch. Whitepoint Dream Weaver for Craigycor who won Green Star Dog.

• 18th August 2009 - Brad aka Eng. & Ir. Ch. Whitepoint Dream Weaver for Craigycor Green Star Dog and Best of Breed under breed specialist Mrs. Niamph McCarthy-Craig (Castlelack Corgis, Ireland) at Killarney All Breed Championship Show. Completing a ‘double’ for us was Bunny aka Eng. & Ir. Ch. Maplecreek Beach Bunny at Craigycor who won green star bitch.

Brad went on to win 1st in Group 1 under Mr. G. Jeavons (Canada) and finished 5th Best in Show under Mr. J. Maddan (Ireland).

• 20th August 2009 - Bunny aka Eng. & Ir. Ch. Maplecreek Beach Bunny at Craigycor Green Star Bitch and Best of Breed and under Mrs. D. Anderson (USA) at Limerick All Breed Championship Show.

Bunny went on to win 2nd in Group 1 under Mrs. M. Burke (Ireland).

• 22nd August 2009 - Brad aka Eng. & Ir. Ch. Whitepoint Dream Weaver for Craigycor Green Star Dog and Best of Breed Mr J. Eberhardt (Germany) at Tralee All Breed Championship Show. Completing a ‘double’ for us was Bunny aka Eng. & Ir. Ch. Maplecreek Beach Bunny at Craigycor who won green star bitch.

Brad went on to win 1st in Group 1 under Mr. J. Foley (Ireland) and finished 3rd Best in Show under Mr. N. Hammond (Ireland).

Completing a 'double' for us was Barry aka Craigycor Elfwish MIB winning the Dog CACIB & Green Star.

Misty aka Ryslip Molly Malone at Craigycor won the Reserve CACIB Bitch.

Erin aka Craigycor Viva La Diva won Best Puppy in Breed, Puppy Group 1 under J. Hartigan (Ireland) and Best Puppy in Show under Mr. Hans Van Der Berg (Holland).

31st May  2009 - At the European winners Dog Show in Dublin we had a very successful day under breed specialist Mr. Michael McCarthy (Castlelack Corgis, Ireland).

Brad aka BIS Eng. , Ir. & Int. Ch Whitepoint Dream Weaver for Craigycor  won Green Star Dog CACIB Dog and Best of Breed.

Brad went on to win second in Group 1 under Mr. L. Teixeira (Spain).

Erin aka Craigycor Viva La Diva won first in Puppy Bitch, Best Puppy in Breed.

Erin went on to win 1st in Puppy Group 1 under Mrs. E. Drennan (Ireland).

Barry aka Craigycor Elfwish MIB won Junior Dog and Best Junior in breed and finally Bunny aka BIS Eng. , Ir. & Int. Ch Maplecreek Beach Bunny at Craigycor won the Reserve Bitch Green Star.

This show was the largest ever show held in Ireland and it was a fantastic day for us coming home with the top honours in the breed, which included the title European Winner.

Brad went on to win first in Group 1 under Mr. H. McGucken (Ireland) and then Best in Show under Mr. C. Hastings (Ireland).

Finally, Brads' half sister Erin aka Craigycor Viva La Diva won Best Puppy in Breed, Puppy Group 1 under Mr. McGucken (Ireland) and Runner Up Best Puppy in Show under Mr. Hastings (Ireland).

2nd May  2009 - Misty aka Ryslip Molly Malone at Craigycor   wins Green Star Bitch and Best of Breed at South Tipperary All Breed Championship Show under breed specialist Mrs. A. Allen  (Cavalder Corgis, Ireland).

10th April 2009 - Ben aka Am., Ir. and now Swe. Ch. Craigycor Mr. Bo Jangles win CAC, CACIB and Best of Breed at the International Dog show in Stockholm under Mr. Paul Stanton (Sweden).

Congratulations to Ben's co-owner Anneli Sutela.

8th April 2009 - Ben aka Ir. & Am. Ch. Craigycor Mr. Bo Jangles has travelled to Finland for a sabbatical to live with Anneli Sutela (www.annlines.net).

Ben is a Group winner in Ireland where he was shown by Craigycor and the USA where he was under the expert stewardship of Maria Brady (www.clovellycorgis.com).

Larry aka Craigycor Mr. Magawan has travelled to Australia where after completing his stay in quarantine he is now living with his new owner Joan Watson (www.anbenly.com) in Tasmania.

Before Larry left Ireland his wins included Best Puppy in Breed, Puppy Group #1 and Runner Up Best Puppy in Show at Belfast two day All Breed Championship Show and he repeated in the same feat at Banbridge All Breed Championship Show.

Finally, Erin aka Craigycor Viva La Diva who was at her first show aged just 6 months and 2 days won Best Puppy in Breed and Reserve Best Puppy in Show.

17th March  2009 - Alan had a day off from showing the dogs at St. Patrick's Day All Breed Championship Show as he was judging Group 1. His group winner on the day, a Border Collie won Best in Show.

On behalf of the Craigycor Team, Alan accepted the award of top Group 1 Breeder in the Our Dogs/Show Dogs Ireland competition and 3rd All Breeds. This is the 2nd Year in a row Craigycor have been top breeder in their group - which we are very proud of.

Although Alan was not showing, we are glad to report that Craigycor bred dogs had a good day winning by the Reserve Green Star Dog and the Green Star Bitch which was won by Fiona Millar's Dixie aka Craigycor Irish Luck at Meitza.

21st February 2009 - Misty aka Ryslip Molly Malone at Craigycor wins Best of Breed at Queens Island All Breed Open Show under Mrs. S. Walker (France).

Misty went on to win 1st in the Pastoral Group under Mrs. D. Robinson (Ireland) and then Best in Show under Mr. P. Martin (Ireland).

Making her show debut and winning Best Puppy in Breed and 2nd in the Pastoral Puppy Group was Fairy aka Craigycor Fairy Tail.

Finally, first in Open Dog and the Reserve Best of Breed winner was Barry aka Craigycor Elfwish MIB.

31st January 2009 - Dixie aka Craigycor Irish Luck at Meitza wins her second Best in Show in Scotland in 2009.

24th January  2009 - Bunny aka BIS Eng. , Ir. & Int. Ch Maplecreek Beach Bunny at Craigycor  wins the Group #1 section at the Irish Show Dog finals in Dublin ran by the Irish Kennel Club.

Bunny went on to win 6th overall out of the 10 group finalists.

The judge for this event was Svend Lovenkjaer (Denmark).

1st January 2009 - Bunny aka BIS Eng. , Ir. & Int. Ch Maplecreek Beach Bunny at Craigycor  is confirmed as the top winning Corgi and Herding Dog in Ireland and is runner up top Corgi in the UK where she only attended 6 shows.

During the year she won 5 CC's with BOB with the highlight being Best in Show at the Welsh Corgi League and South Wales Breed Club Shows.
