Victorian, 1850's to late 1860's silhouette

A series of photographs taken in about 1985 and originally colour slides. Whilst the photographic quality is not good this series does demonstrate the hidden layers a Victorian lady would have worn to achieve the silhouette seen in the old photographs from 1856 to the end of the 1860's.
