The Gorphwysfa Club is a group for mountain lovers

Inspired by one Geoffrey Winthrop Young, the club has regular meets around the UK and organises two annual fell races.

Members and their friends walk, run, climb, cave, engage in other mountain related pursuits and, above all, socialise.

They also coordinate arrangements for the Welsh 1000m Peaks Race

This is held anually in early June.
