To create a new E-mail and Internet Access Dial-up account for your home or office PC/Mac, simply complete the form below and click on the 'send form' button, providing the e-mail address you have requested has not already been taken your details will be accepted and your account automatically set up, if the e-mail address you require has already been taken you will be asked to register another. There is no limit as to the number of NEI Dial-up Accounts/E-mail Addresses you can have.

Although your account allowing you to access both the Internet and E-mail is instantly available for use, your mailbox will take a little longer but usually within 24 hours and we will confirm this with you as soon as we have it arranged.

Your E-mail address will take the form of user@nei.co.uk where user is a name or names of your choice. Spaces are not allowed between two names, also for simplicity's sake it is better that you use lower case particularly when giving your e-mail address over the phone, furthermore some networks are case sensitive, usually using lower case only, which is why John Doe becomes johndoe and not JohnDoe. Therefore if you wish to use two or more names as your user name they should be written as shown in the examples below, the total number of characters (including dashes and dots) of your user name before the '@' symbol should not exceed 15 otherwise your e-mail address will be rejected:

  • johndoe
  • john_doe
  • john-doe
  • john.doe

Your full e-mail address is also your login name to access our network, you will also require a password which should be something easily remembered but not so easy that others will be able to guess what it is.
