Seeds

A Body in Association with

• A group of churches and organisations in Sevenoaks who have agreed to lay aside their individual church identities a few times a year  and, instead, to work together on some high quality, evangelical outreach events in neutral venues.
• Focussed on the kingdom of God: We want to express the teaching of Jesus: that the church is not the end but rather a means to an end.  That end is God's dynamic rule (his kingdom)
• Outreach orientated: To share the gospel with yet-to-be Christians in culturally relevant and God-honouring ways.

• We are not trying to replace Churches Together in Sevenoaks and District - we want to work alongside and compliment the work of CTSD.  (We are Body affiliated to CTSD.)

• We are not a clique: All the churches in the area are annually invited by letter to join Seeds

Bessels Green Baptist Church, St Botolph's Church (Chevening), 
St Mary's Church (Kemsing), St Nicholas Church (Sevenoaks), 
Sundridge and Ide Hill churches, URC Church (Sevenoaks), Vineyard Church (Sevenoaks), Vine Baptist Church (Sevenoaks), and Vine Evangelical Church ('VEC') and Sevenoaks Area Youth Trust.

  * An evening with Jonathan Aitken (June 2005)
  * A Golf Day (September 2005, at Wildernesse Golf Club in Sevenoaks)
  * Football event (coinciding with World cup in 2006)
  * Turning on the Christmas Lights (December 2005, 2006)
