in Sevenoaks and District.

Role
The primary role of the Sevenoaks Churches Group for Social Concern lies is to
encourage the people of the member
churches of CTSD in the application of their Christian
faith to everyday life in the community. To that end it
(a) draws the attention of member churches to current needs and social problems,
and where possible
facilitating or initiating specific schemes (e.g.
Befrienders; Debt Advice; Child Contact Centre)
(b) assists thinking about ethical and moral issues,
(c) works in partnership with other agencies for social service, voluntary and
statutory
(d) offers advice and formulates recommendations to Churches Together in
Sevenoaks and District
