Los Robles provides the ideal base for searching out the many attractions in the area with easy access to the N332 (National coast road) and E15 (toll motorway). Alcalali is set in the beautiful and unspoilt Jalon Valley, also known as the Val de Pop, between Alicante and Valencia. The stunning countryside surrounding the village provides endless possibilities for both gentle and strenuous walking, days out in the car, or visiting some of the many interesting attractions in the area.

 

Apart from the villa and it's facilities, the area immediately surrounding Los Robles also offers :-

 

·         Several village bars and restaurants within easy walking distance (the nearest restaurant - Pepe's - is literally just round the corner)

·         A medieval tower overlooking the village square with local museum

·         General provisions stores, serving excellent meats, cheeses and other local produce

·         A large public swimming pool with games areas (open summer months only)

 

Slightly further afield are attractions such as:-

 

·         Jalon (5 mins) with it's Saturday Rastro, bodega's, bars, etc.

·         Benissa (10 mins) with it's cathedral, shops and Saturday market.

·         Calpe (20 mins) with it's famous rock, harbour, town centre shopping and wonderful beaches and restaurants

·         Denia (20 mins) steeped in history, complete with castle, harbour stylish shops and street cafe's

·         Javea (20 mins) where the long sweeping beach of the Arenal Playa complete with restaurants and sand artists compliment the compact old town with it's narrow streets of traditional shops and tapas bars

·         Guadalest (45 mins) the famous mountain fortress which was the last stronghold of the Moors in the area

·         Benidorm (45 mins) with it's bars and beaches, and the recently opened Terra Mitica theme park

·         The major cities of Alicante (1 hr) and Valencia (1 hr 15 mins)
