The Result

Sixteen members gathered in Bristol at the Bank Holiday to ride the Avon Cycleway. In the event, no one met the Challenge to ride the 85-mile, way-marked Avon Cycleway circuit in one stage. But, five people did it in two. So, the keenest cyclists did some 200km over the two days and have a certificate to prove it! The weather was kind to us, not too hot, little wind. Visitors had bed and breakfast with local members and the whole group dined out on the Sunday evening. Thank you to the members who provided accommodation. Thanks too to the people who travelled to join us in Bristol. Feedback is good. There's a call for a CycleOut Bristol Challenge in the 2007 summer programme.
