Asarum (wild ginger)

Mood Swings. Asarum is very unstable.

The mood swing appears to be between a light, floating and euphoric state, which is almost like flying and a state of oversensitivty,where everything grates on the nerves.

The euphoria almost feels like a spiritual trance, and there is a desire for genuine understanding, coming from the feeling that the state is too etherial. The sadness comes with a state of fragility, prostration and despair. There is not enough energy to bring anything to completion.

A remedy for ripening puberty, when there is physical of emotional immaturity. The depression of Arist. seems deeper than that of Asarum. Arist sometimes makes an effort to overcome her problems, but there is a sense of Isolation: She feels that she is disgusting and wants to be alone.

A segment is a conceptual representation of part of a remedy picture that pervades both the menatal/emotional sphere and the generalities. Bryonia (Wild hops) Boericke

Farrington: We find Bryonia indicated first of all in changes in the blood; in changes affecting its quantity, its quality and its circulation. For example, its indicated in febrile conditions; in fevers of an intermitting type, and also in rheumatic gastric, bilious, traumatic and typhoid fevers, in all of which, gastric symptoms are prominent.

Symptoms develop slowly. The main action is on parts which have to do with motion. It inflames membranes such as the pleura, the menininges, tendons and connective tissue causing sharp stabbing pains. The membranes become dry and you feel extremely thirsty.
