‘Inspiring teenagers
to achieve their life dreams and live a remarkable life…’
How is it some people seem to instinctively know who they what to be? What they want to do in their lives... Yet for many finding these answers is far more challenging...
I remember looking around at school and as I recognised those few, those fortunate enough to know their dreams and aspirations I asked myself how did they find the answers?...the secrets of how to create and unfold their dreams...
What is Daring to Dream?
Daring to dream is a series of workshops designed
specifically to enable teenagers uncover their life dreams and find their way
to achieve them.
Imagine
your teenager comes home tonight… and instead of turning on the telly switching
to their favourite program and munching into a packet of crisps; they run up to
you and say in an excited tone…’School was great today… and when I have
completed this it will enable me to do x and then I can do y and then when I’m
older I will be able to do z’
Sound unrealistic?… You might
think so… and I wonder what people might have thought of Beckham or Jonny
Wilkinson when they said they wanted to play for England aged 12 or 13? These
people had their dreams and believed in them so strongly that they found within
themselves and around them all the resources they needed to eventually make
their dreams a reality. Once teenagers have discovered their life purpose they
discover everyday becomes a day of growth and discovery, a remarkable day, and
they find themselves automatically guided towards the studies, friends,
relationships and activities that will be pivotal to unlocking their dreams and
their future.
