Alconbury Colts 3-0 Bottisham - SAT 16 SEP 2006 10:30
Great Team Effort
Firstly I'd like to say well done to Alconbury they played well today. Well what a game we had today. The girls played outstanding. Fiona and I were so proud of the girls today - they passed the ball, they got into space - we had several chances on goal but infortunately today we never had the luck. But in true Bottisham spirit the girls all played as a team and held their heads high. Well done to you all girls. It was a very tight game, end to end with tackles, passing and a great team effort all round.

Bottisham 0-6 Haverhill Rovers Girls - SAT 23 SEP 2006 10:00
Good effort by Bottisham Girls
We knew Haverhill would be a tough team, and they were! Our girls are getting better at marking and hassling the players but a couple of soft goals caused them to lose heart. Tiff had some great saves but typical of the Bottisham girls spirit - they come out and try their hardest and enjoy themselves. Girl of the match today was Jaz who battled really well through out the game. It was great to meet up with Steve and his team. Well done Haverhill Rovers Girls.

Bottisham 1-2 Alconbury Colts SAT 02 DEC 2006 10:30
Lost in the last minute!
Bottisham started the match full of fire. Passing was terrific and Alconbury soaked up a lot of pressure. Several times the girls were on target but Alconbury's goaly kept them out. Finally Rachel scored putting us ahead in the first half. Alconbury seemed to wake up in the second half and created a great goal within minutes. Our girls soaked up a huge amount of pressure but kept the score even until the last minute when Alconbury scored the winner. With no subs this was a terrific show of teamwork. Jaz got girl of the match for quick and accurate passing and sustained attacking. Well done girls we're scoring more and more.

Sutton Stirling 0-0 Bottisham - SAT 09 DEC 2006 10:30
Tired Legs!
A sticky pitch after the weeks rain had left the girls with tired legs after this goaless draw. Both teams had plenty of scoring opportunities but neither quite managed to get the ball in the net. Bottisham midfield ran their socks off but to no avail. Jazmin's shots went wide, Chantelle's high and Rachel, Lydia and Abbie all had shots on goal but Sutton somehow scrambled them away. Good defense from Ellie, Shelby, Elizabeth kept the pressure off Tiff who, as always, had a great game in goal with her long powerful shots.

Cambourne Rovers Juniors 1-2 Bottisham - SAT 16 DEC 2006 10:00
Great Christmas present!
This extremely close match was a thriller. Jasmine got us of to a great start but Cambourne came back with the equaliser. Play was back and forward with lots of shots on goal. Abbie dropped back to defend and a complete miss kick meant an own goal just before half time. Half time was a welcome break and the girls came back positively with a great goal from Chantelle. About five minutes before the end Bottisham got a free kick which Jasmine turned into a terrific winning goal. Cambourne attacked and attacked and Bottisham defended strongly. It was a long five minutes but the whistle eventually went and we got the win. Thanks Cambourne for such a good game.
Merry Christmas to everyone.

2nd season for Bottisham Girls
Well done to Steve and your girls for playing a great game of football today well deserved win. Good luck in the play offs. Bottisham turned up today with only eight players and unfortunately we missed some of our strong players. Unfortunately poor Ellie conceded an OG and this made her lose her confidence a bit. but she still played a great game. Tiff as usual had a great game. Elizabeth in defence as well played well. Midfield ran their socks off today with some great passing from Jaz, Lydia and Abbie - well done girls. Upfront Rachel and Carlie, Carlie battled really well today well done. Rachel also had some great passing today and played really well. Glad to see you all played with great Bottisham Spirit well done great improvement from season to season. Girl of the match today Abbie well done Abs.
