"If there's one thing I've learned over the last hundred years, it's that you've got to accept what you are."

Synopsis
Rex is young, glamourous, fashionable, a perfect night-time creature of the bars and clubs of Soho. Through interviews, fly-on-the-wall scrutiny and recordings of Rex talking to others we form a picture of life as a vampire ...

Comment
One of the stand-out episodes from the first season. Filmed in a documentary style, the show cleverly pastiches the penchant for fly-on-the-wall programmes on television. Rex is superbly cast and comes over as both cool and dangerous, and the vicious killing of a girl part-way through comes over as shocking and brutal. A fine piece of television.

This episode has also been adapted for the stage and premiered in 2001 in Bristol. A further presentation of the performance is planned for 2002.
