As previously mentioned the recording facility is based around 16 track digital recording, using Focusrite and MOTU preamps and converters and Tannoy monitoring. The studio is equipped to handle all manner of recording including bands, spoken word, DJ mix sets and mobile recording. Other equipment utilised in the studio are Scully 1 inch analogue 8 track tape recoder, Novation Super Nova keyboard, Roland MC 505, Roland S760 sampler and sound archive, Ensoniq SQ 2, Technics SL 1200 MKII turntables and Numark mixer. There are also a number of pianos. The mobile recording facility uses the Focusrite and the MOTU, together with a Dell Inspiron 8200, for a complete mobile solution. |
