St. Mary’s Church spire is a local landmark and can be seen from any direction that Lydney is approached, if you are visiting the Parish from outside of the Town the spire will put you in touch with the location of the church.
The map below will also guide you: Enter the town from the A48 and proceed along the High Street until you reach the old preaching Cross turn into Church Road the church is down on the left about a ¼ of a mile. Parking is adequate in front of the Old Vicarage and church. Approaching the church from the A48 Lydney by-pass turn into Church Road pass the cemetery, the church is on the right about 300 metres further on. |
