| We are a community of people from all walks of life who are drawn together by a common faith in Jesus Christ. We exist to worship God and to encourage one another to grow as disciples of Christ, to be actively involved in proclaiming God’s love by deeds and words in our local area and throughout the world. |

We
believe that the Christian gospel is relevant to all aspects of living.
The message is one of hope in a new life through the death and
resurrection of Jesus Christ. As Christians we seek to transform corrupt
and self centred values by establishing a radical alternative based upon
biblical values and working in the strength of God’s Spirit. |

| We are committed to building relationships with Christians from other traditions and pursuing friendship and understanding with those of other creeds and faiths. Our church is a member of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and a member of Churches Together in Dewsbury and a member of Kirklees Racial Equality Council. |
