What is Alpha?

Alpha is an introduction to Christianity. The Alpha course is run in thousands of Churches all over the world, and follows a very simple pattern. The following outline has been suggested:

Anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith
Learning and laughter. It is possible to think about some very profound    issues and have fun at the same time.
People and pasta (in fact, all kinds of food). An opportunity to get to  know each other and make friends over a meal.
Helping one another. The small groups give you a chance to discuss issues  raised during the talks.
Ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is regarded as too  simple or too hostile.
