• curiously "the Head was unavailable for comment"
• meanwhile Tim takes 1 day off and is officially back after 3 days
• STRANGELY the Govs issue a letter implying he’s on his death bed
• SIMULTANIOUSLY Tim says "its personal" "it’s a minor incident

So what are we to make of all this incongruent spin.? Tim’s embarrassed. It’s personal, in which case what does Tim know that he’s not saying, and why did the LEA insist on raising the profile by getting it front page and naming him. Did the spin imply it might be dissatisfied parents?. That’s nasty. They are not listening to Tim-- - "ITS PERSONAL"…….so however much you spin it, it has nothing to do with Harlowfields. That’s a relief to several of us parents who (momentarily ) feared for our own safety as well as Tim’s.

SPIN DOCTORING PERVERSION

I’ve been contacted by a parent who wants to clear her name at the school, inspite of doing nothing wrong.

A while ago in the reign of B.T she and her friend heard her own child screaming in pain as he was incorrectly hoisted by 2 members of staff, in the toilets. She justifiably complained but this was spun around by B.T so that the staff and Govs have been told (yes she has the Gov report obtained by accident) to say she had gone into a toilet when another child was there. Although she has had NO communications from the school, and No proper school procedures have been gone through, no letter, no meeting no complaints procedure, nothing, she was labelled by staff and Governors as a danger to children. After her solicitor intervened she was reluctantly allowed back in school, but the head , who only knows what Brian has told him, feels obliged to shadow her around the school

This is one of several incidents that we have heard of involving B.T where a parent complained and it was deliberately turned round to blame the parents, most of whom wilted under that intimidation. But this parent doesn’t wilt and deserves a full formal written and verbal apology from all the Governors for their disgraceful collusion and their illegal and immoral actions. I don’t know of one complaint that has ever been followed through to its conclusion. In fact I don’t know of one complaint that ever gets beyond Brian Surtees making notes and wittering on at extreme length. What a gas bag. He’s better at it than most women

SPIN DOCTORING DELAYED ANNUAL PARENTS MEETING

This meeting has been inexcusably delayed with extremely poor excuses for over 6 months. Finally they could delay it no longer, after pressure. So the report wasn’t ready – how would you like to get a report from Barbara after she’d been made to retire early- not the easiest proposition, although several other staff are in the position to produce one, and a draft Govs Report Meeting was held last Sept! Now I for one want to encourage every parent to attend this little soiree on

THURSDAY MAY 12^TH !!!!!!!!! 18:00 hours or maybe slightly later

And I’m sure Tim feels the same way. Some of you have been put off by past events, like Governors pretending votes did not take place and a rather hostile environment, but you don’t have to actually SAY anything if you’re shy and some parents have got 2½ years of unanswered questions to be resolved. It’s about time the school started telling us something about their policies and how the school is run. This after all is the function of the Parents Meeting, for the Govs to inform the parents and answer questions. Some of you parents more recent to the school will not have experienced ANY MEETINGS whatsoever, and so may have no expectations but YOU SHOULD. This lack of communication by the school is letting you down. Webmaster will understand if many of you choose not to go after the abuse and bullying of previous years

So as school news letters go it’s good and informative thanks to Tim.

Very sad news about Nicola Hobson, who had been part of the school for so long. Our condolences go to her family and all who knew her. It was heartwarming to read what Tim wrote so genuinely in the newsletter about Nicky

Does anyone know if the school still has the beautiful little memorial garden, in memory of deceased pupils? We hope so. Could someone tell us/

Finally WHAT DO WE STILL WANT?

1. Meetings arranged for parents at sensible times when we all stand a chance of attending
(For some reason the Govs don’t want to encourage us to meet – what are they afraid of?)
2. Tell us the schools policy on New Model Sp. Schs and how would affect school, pupils and parents?
3. Has the school got its mobile home from Harlow Council yet? Is it really the only option

(4)The true state of the schools 2 therapy pools

(5) The School Development plan……which 7 schools is HF corporately Developing with? Explain what this will mean in day to day running of the school.

(6)Does Mrs Helen Jackson Chair of personnel and FINANCE committee EVER put in an appearance at ANY meeting, including APMs. What exactly has she done, if anything. Is there a quorum for the personnel and Finance committee?
