April 2002 Some parents threatened with prosecution from Ed Welfare if their sick / unwell children do not attend school without medical evidence. Coincides with deaths of 2 PMLD children after being ill and not medically dealt with (Eye off the ball tactic?)
Dec 2002 Privatisation plans shelved but parts of the system can be privatised individually
Oct 2002 Tim Miller promoted to close a school in Thurrock
April 2003 Neil Nortcliffe - Ass. Head makes a sudden exit following a health and safety issue following Health and Safety inspection Jan 2003 (coincidence?)
July 2003. Staff continue to leave in droves, giving a variety of excuses. 200% plus desertion rate in 4 years from a so called Centre of Excellence.

May 12th 2005 APM staged but Tim writes to parents that it is a Parent's Evening.
The APM written report is so full of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors that we are surprised that OFSTED didn't take them to task over it

Oct 2005 Interim APM does not take place as promised and minuted at previous APM. No Report
Oct2005 Ofsted Inspection downgrades school to just about passable
